Okwilague Shamac Ibrahim was born on 23rd September 1987 and hails from Jattu-Uzaire, Etsako-West Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria. A positive-minded individual, he upholds honesty and integrity as core values—firmly believing it is better to lose money in business than to lose one’s integrity.
Ibrahim completed his secondary education at Greater Tomorrow Secondary School, Benin City, earning both his West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) certificates in 2004. He went on to obtain a B.Ed. in Electrical/Electronics Technology Education from the University of Benin in 2008.
In 2009, he commenced his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Ogun State, serving as a Site Engineer at the Office of the Governor, Bureau of Electrical Engineering Services, Oke’Mosan, Abeokuta. Upon completing his service in 2010, Ibrahim traveled to the United Kingdom to pursue his passion for movies by earning a Master’s degree in Digital Visual Effects—a program he completed with distinction.
His professional career began in September 2012 at the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), Edo State, where he worked in the Website Unit until June 2016. In this role, he contributed to the planning, design, and development of the state’s official web platform, created visual content, managed website updates, and collaborated with his team on key strategic and technical decisions.
Entrepreneurship has been a part of Ibrahim’s life from a young age, inspired by his parents’ business ventures. Over time, he built expertise in cryptocurrency trading and other business operations. He once ventured into movie production, producing African Messiah—featuring stars such as Nadia Buhari, Darlington Achakpo (“Speed Darlington”), Temidayo Omoniyi (“Zlatan”), Nosa Afolabi (“Lasisi Elenu”), Charles Okocha, and others. However, after the project did not yield a financial return, he decided to exit the industry, recognizing its potential to cause significant financial setbacks. Since then, his creative work in film has been limited to producing light-hearted, family-centered content.
Today, Ibrahim is the founder and CEO of Greatiby Limited, a trusted digital asset exchange known for competitive rates, instant payouts, and reliability. He is also involved in other business ventures, including automotive sales and petroleum marketing.
A great philanthropist at heart, Ibrahim remains deeply committed to community development and empowering others. His work ethic, values, and vision continue to shape his journey as a respected figure in business and beyond.
