KYC/AML Procedure
Greatiby Freedom Swap is designed to provide users with a fast, convenient, and secure cryptocurrency swap experience. To protect users and comply with applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) requirements, all transactions are subject to automated risk screening and compliance monitoring.
Risk Monitoring and Transaction Reviews
Greatiby and its compliance partners utilize automated risk detection systems to monitor transactions for indicators of fraud, theft, sanctions violations, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other prohibited activities.
If a transaction is identified as potentially high-risk or suspicious, the swap may be temporarily placed on hold pending further review. The specific risk assessment criteria used are confidential and are not publicly disclosed to prevent abuse of the compliance process.
Identity Verification
Where required, users may be asked to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. This may include providing:
Government-issued identification
Selfie or facial verification
Proof of ownership of the source wallet
Additional documentation requested by the compliance team
Each case is reviewed individually based on the nature and risk profile of the transaction.
Completion of Verification
Once the requested verification has been successfully completed and approved, the transaction review will be finalized and, where appropriate, the swap will proceed and the exchanged cryptocurrency will be delivered to the designated wallet address.
Refusal to Complete Verification
If a user declines to provide the requested verification information or fails to complete the verification process within the required timeframe, the transaction may be cancelled. Where permitted by applicable regulations and compliance requirements, funds may be returned to the originating wallet address after deduction of applicable blockchain network fees.
Greatiby reserves the right to restrict or deny future access to Freedom Swap services for users, wallet addresses, or transactions that fail compliance reviews.
False or Misleading Information
Submission of false, forged, altered, or misleading documents will result in an immediate compliance failure and may lead to transaction cancellation, account restrictions, wallet blacklisting, and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law.
Suspected Illegal Activity
Greatiby does not facilitate or support money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing, stolen funds, hacked assets, or any other illegal activity.
Where funds are suspected to be connected to criminal activity, sanctions violations, or other unlawful conduct, additional investigations may be conducted. In such cases, users may be required to provide further evidence regarding the ownership and source of the funds before any decision is made regarding the transaction.
Cooperation with Authorities
Greatiby reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, and compliance partners where legally required. Information and documentation provided during compliance reviews may be disclosed to competent authorities in response to valid legal requests or investigations.
By using Greatiby Freedom Swap, users acknowledge and agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements associated with cryptocurrency transactions.
